Principal Owner
Shannon has been leading and coaching Agile teams for nearly 15 years. She started her career as an Analyst with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), providing technical support and training of tools and solutions used in support of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina disaster. Soon after, Shannon shifted her focus to the private and non-profit industry where she was introduced to Agile. It was during this time that her passion for agility and utilizing agile techniques to help transform organizations emerged. Over the years, Shannon has led various efforts as an Agile leader, such as her work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in which she was on the front line of early agile adoption by solutioning as a Lead Scrum Master on the critical challenges around the Healthcare.gov initiative. Since then, Shannon has continued to focus her interest towards opportunities to coach, train and hone her approach to challenges commonly faced within both small and large cross-functional organizations. In early 2020, Shannon founded Vorentoe LLC, a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) utilizing agile coaching, training and consulting to bring about meaningful change and knowledge to organizations.
